Abstract: Natural Language Processing (NLP) has made significant strides in recent years, but its advancements largely rely on the availability of vast linguistic resources. However, many languages lack the necessary data to fully leverage state-of-the-art deep learning models, posing unique challenges for low-resource language processing.

In this seminar, Dr. Özateş will present various approaches for tackling these challenges, focusing on integrating linguistic features with deep learning techniques for the NLP of low-resource languages.
